Aqua Star

Developmental stages at which crop plants are more sensitive to water deficit as
compared to others are known as critical stages. For instances in cotton stress
sensitivity is greatest from floral development through pollination. Drought at
water stress during these stages may affect productivity more severely than during
other periods. Sometime entire crop fails due to water stress during these stages.
The application of Aqua Star helps in extending the water cycle of the crop which
in turn protects the crops for longer period during water stress in critical stages.
Hence the use of Aqua Star period during water cycle of the crop which in turn
protects the crop for longer period during water in turn protects the crops for
longer period during water stress in critical stages. Hence the use of Aqua Star
Ensures good quality crop and higher yield even in adverse condition like drought.
Even reducing water resource and rising population forcing more water diversion
to domestic and industrial sector resulting in water shortage for agriculture purpose
forcing us to develop techniques by which we can get higher yield with minimum
water and one of such most advance technique is Aqua Star micronizing Irrigation.

What is Aqua Star :

Aqua Star is a white , odorless, non-poisonous synthetic polymer in the form of crystalline powder. Its PH is 6.7 i.e. neutral. Water holding capacity of Aqua Star is 1200 times compares to an ideal normal soil because one gram Aqua Star can absorb 250 ml of water. Its melting point is more than 600’ c. Its bulk density is 620 gm/lit. Rate of water absorption is 10.6 sec. Bloating ratio is 1:350- 1:400.Its particle size is 170 mesh.

Method of application:

Aqua Star is in the form of fine crystalline powder & is very light in weight hence it should be applied with the organic manures. The required quantity of Aqua Star.should be added in enough quantity of any of the granular organic manure such as vermicompost,powdered cow dung manure, FYM, or any powdered oiled cake. It should be thoroughly mixed with it & Made slightly damp with very little water. This mixture is then applies below the soil at root zone of plant. An immediate irrigation is must to activate the Aqua Star .This Aqua Star mix(with organic matter) can be mixed with any fertilizer applied in basal dose.

 Cotton : cotton has stress sensitivity grates from floral development through pollination Dose : 2-2 kg/ acre along with fertilizer dose optimises yield.
 Sugarcane : Sugarcane is a high biomass crop that requires large quantity of water for maximum production. Reduction in cane yield and sugar content were most frequent and severe when water stress occurred. Dose : 2-5 kg/acre with fertilizer dose at the time of earthing up.

 Soyabean : drought stress will lead to a lower rate of water uptake by the soyabean roots. As a result the soyabean plant might grow smaller leaves
slow or stop growth and flowering, abort flowers, abort pods, abort grain  drop leaves. Dose : 1-2 kg/acre provide better tolerance and yield.

 Chilli : (Vegetables) : Vegetable crops are comparatively high moisture stress sensitive during vegetative , flowering & fruiting stages of growth
development

 They have maximum impact of water stress.

 Dose: 3-5 kg /acre (to be applied in 2-3 stages @1-1.5 kg/acre with fertilizer
dose) to ensure higher yield.
 Pulses(Red Gram ) : Red gram is rain fed crop, usually it does not irrigation for optimum moisture is necessary during a) budding b) flowering c) pod formation stages.
 Dose : 1-1.5 kg/acre at the time of sowing along any fertilizer applied in basal dose optimizes yield.
 Grains : Drought stress on wheat can play important role in the reduction of the plant growth stage, specifically during germination n arid and semi arid regions, increases drought levels and deleterious effect on germination and radical length and plumage length of wheat.

 Dose: 1-2 kg/acre at the time of sowing along any fertilizer applied in basal dose optimize yield.
